Peter Forck from GSI at ILSF
26 October-2 November, 2012

Peter Forck is the deputy group leader of the beam diagnostics group at GSI Helmholtz Center for Heavy Ion Research at Darmstadt, Germany. He will be visiting ILSF in the fall of 2012. He is an experienced member of European and international collaborations and member of the Program Committee of the international conference DIPAC. He is a lecturer at the Joint Universities Accelerator School JUAS and the CERN Accelerator School CAS. He is also heavily involved in the design of FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research) and its related beam diagnostics. During his stay he will teach a course on Beam Instrumentation and Diagnostics at ILSF. 

Helmut Wiedemann visits ILSF

Helmut Wiedemann, professor emeritus of Stanford University, and advisor to ILSF is visiting ILSF. He will be giving advice to various technical groups and discussing future plans.

Dieter Einfeld visits ILSF
16-18 June, 2012

Dieter Einfeld, the technical director of ALBA, and technical advisor to ILSF will be visiting IPM from 16 to 18 June 2012. He will review the work of the ILSF technical groups, review the draft CDR, and provide consultation for future work.

Fermi@Elettera Call for Proposals
for the user period of July 1st to December 30th, 2012
FERMI@Elettra facility is calling for users experiments at the FEL1. The purpose of this call is to accommodate the international FEL users community through opening their facility to external proposals. Deadline for proposal submission: March 30th, 2012, h. 16.30 (04.30 p.m.) (MET) for the user period starting from July 1st to December 30th, 2012.  اطلاعیه کارگاه:
دانشگاه شهید بهشتی با همکاری مرکز مطالعات و همکاری های علمی بين المللی وزارت علوم تحقيقات و فناوری (کميته سزامی ايران) کارگاه آموزشی " مبانی فيزيک شتابدهنده ها، سنکروترون و محاسبات آن " را در تاریخ ٣ الی ٥ آبان ماه ١٣٩٠ برگزار می نماید. در این کارگاه که در مدت زمان 3 روز برگزار می گردد، با مبانی فیزیک شتابدهنده ها و محاسبات آنها با تمرکز بر شتابگر سنکروترون آشنا خواهید شد. لازم به ذکر است شرکت کنندگان می‌تـواننـد کـــارهای پـــــــژوهشی خود را در  قالب پــــوستر بــه نشـانی  الکتــرونیــــــکی
